Overview
The Brief
Our client, FATH UK, was looking for additional marketing content to be created that highlighted their products and manufacturing capabilities.
Producing system-independent machine components and shopfloor management solutions, FATH UK specialises in solutions that improve productivity within industrial environments.
One standout product is their e-trike platform scooter, which is designed to carry people and loads safely and efficiently through warehouses.
This AI-enhanced video advert is currently running on LinkedIn, targeting nearly 90,000 professionals across the UK and Ireland.
We determined videoing the e-trike in action for the promotional content was the most effective strategy, however this posed several problems, including:
- Allocating time to develop the necessary creative
- Acquiring various locations on short notice
- Budget to create the campaign
Deliverables
What we did
PRODUCTION
To address production concerns, Omnisity decided to incorporate Artificial Intelligence into our processes of creating marketing material for the e-trike campaign.
Whilst we’re armed with the equipment and skilled team to be able to photograph and video on location, around the Midlands and further afield, we decided that supplementing our processes with AI offered our client the best possible return within the restrictions of the project.
Promotion
To ensure the product was successfully promoted, we ran the video on LinkedIn as a paid advertisement.
LinkedIn advertising meant we could target who saw the advert – ensuring it only appeared on the screens of potential FATH UK customers, as well as strictly controlling spend.
Photography
We photographed the product at our in-house, purpose-built photography studio here in Stourbridge, with our design team capturing all the imagery they required for the campaign.
AI Tools
The e-trike was then brought to life with AI, with the final result showcasing an animated e-trike driving through industrial environments. This content will be repurposed for different media, saving the client on future on-site filming and production costs.
The results
Production
Being able to incorporate AI where it makes sense for our clients resulted in a big win for FATH UK.
Thanks to resolving concerns such as time spent sourcing a location; time spent travelling to location; the expense of hiring out the location(s) plus filming fees, and potential licensing fees to source auxiliary footage, we saved our client significant production costs. Plus, the content was produced within a swift timeframe and to an excellent quality standard.
As video is multipurpose, it can be reused for further promotional advertisements, in-person exhibitions and more.
Promotion
The finished video was run on social media for 60 days. In this time, we targeted an audience of almost 90,000 select people and achieved:
- 67K appearances on targeted user’s feeds
Within a total budget of £600. Let’s break it down further…
- Cost per thousand views - £8.97
- Cost per user clicking on the ad - £2.99
Showing that amazing results can be achieved within a budget and timeframe to suit you, with the right strategy.
But not without a little fun along the way. Scroll down to see what happens when AI veers off course…
The Omnisity team came up with the innovative solution of using in-house captured images and AI to offer me a quick and economic way of showing the eTRIKE in use. They also saved me a lot of headaches with getting access, permission and H&S approval for filming on location. The results were speedy and worked great for the promotional effect we were looking for.
